Swansea City has chosen to take a club-wide stance in the battle against abuse and discrimination of all forms on social media.

No Swansea, jogadores como Jamal Lowe, Ben Cabango e Yan Dhanda já vieram a público denunciar insultos racistas e em todo o Reino Unido isso vem sendo frequente. Já aconteceram casos no Crystal Palace, Manchester United e mais recentemente no Liverpool, após a derrota dos Reds para o Real Madrid na Liga dos Campeões.
Jordan Henderson, capitão do Liverpool e da seleção inglesa, também se manifestou nesse quinta em seu Twitter avisando que vai promover uma rede de ajuda para as pessoas que quiserem falar sobre ataques sofridos na internet.
